Kate Middleton is known for her beauty, but someone forgot to tell the person who painted the Duchess of Cambridge’s first portrait. The portrait made it’s debut today in London’s National Portrait Gallery, but it’s pretty ugly. According to Paul Emsley, it took him months to create the portrait of the pregnant Duchess using layers of oil and glaze. Kate and William viewed the portrait already in a private viewing and they both said that it was beautiful, but I’m sure they really didn’t think that after seeing it.
