Amazon is looking to give Apple’s itunes a run for their money. Amazon just introduced a new service called Amazon AutoRip. The service gives autorips of cds customers purchased as far back as 1998. After the cd is downloaded the file goes to a customer library in remote datacenters run by Amazon. More than 50,000 albums are available for the autorip. Not sure if this will rival Apple’s iTunes but it you sure will be able to keep track of your purchased music though Amazon.
