So Samsung has done some good things in 2012 and when it came to the mobile market. They finally dethrone Apple as the Mobile king, with its successful device the GS III. Now Samsung is seeking its sights on smaller fish, Samsung is now looking to take over the business enterprise market which RIM has dominated for sometime. The last thing RIM needs is another mobile company stepping on their turf, after all thats all they have left along with BBM. And RIM’s new BB10 devices has government agencies and corporation on the fence about the device. If RIM loses them, they are out the game for good.
“The enterprise space has suddenly become wide open,” Kevin Packingham, chief product officer for Samsung Mobile USA, said in an interview with Reuters. “The RIM problems certainly fueled a lot of what the CIOs are going through, which is they want to get away from a lot of the proprietary solutions.”
