HBO extended their deal with Universal Pictures that will last through 2022, though the terms of the deal have not been released those close to the story have said that the deal is similar to the one they struck with 20th Century Fox that calls for $200 million a year for 20th Century Fox movies. Competition for exclusive movie deals has heightened lately with the growth of Netflix which has given HBO, Starz, Showtime and Encore a run for their money. Hit the Jump for more.
