A U.S. environmental leader,Rebecca Tarbotton, has died in a swimming accident while in Mexico. She was swimming freely when a wave crashed into her tumbling her in the water. She drowned near Puerto Vallarte, Mexico. She was the executive director of Rainforest Action Network a San Francisco-based environmental group.
