Will Smith said it best when he penned the song, “Parent’s Just Don’t Understand.” Clearly this girl agrees as she had to put a Stalking restraining order against her parents. Aubrey Ireland, studies Musical Theater at the University Of Cincinnati, but lately her attention has been turned away from the classroom and into the Courtroom. Ireland applied for the Stalking order against her parents when they made an attempt to take Aubrey out of school claiming that she was mentally unstable, using drugs and having promiscuous sex with boys on campus. Aubrey denied the accusations and enlisted the help of the school to keep her parents from pulling her out of school, and now the parent’s have been ordered to stay away from their daughter until at least September. Aubrey Ireland, said her life prior to the order was like a dog on a leash, even in spite of the fact that she went to school 600 miles from home. Her parent’s put tracking devices on her phone and monitored her use and applications. If they were just being protective I would understand, nobody wants anything to happen to their baby girl, but these two parents took it to the extreme. They would randomly show up on her college campus, in fact they caused so much commotion that the University of Cincinnati hired security guards specifically to keep the parents from bothering the 21 year old who is currently completing her senior year. Judge Jody Luebbers ruled that Aubrey is an adult and capable of living according to her own wishes.
