As I reported the other days, former President George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized since the end of November for a cough related to bronchitis. Originally, they were hoping that the former President would be home for Christmas, but his condition took a turn for the worse. Now his aide is saying that although he’s still in the hospital, to “put the harps away,” because he will be just fine. Read more below.

Aide Jean Becker that former President George H.W. Bush, who is 88, may not be leaving the hospital anytime soon is receiving excellent care and treatment. Bush is the oldest living former president and is suffering from “terrible case of bronchitis” which has caused a stubborn cough and other complications. Becker, who is currently Houston’s chief of staff, said she received countless calls thinking Bush was dying and wouldn’t give any update on his condition but stated he would be fine.
