Looks like Ultrabook manufacturs are worried about Apple’s 2013 Macbook Air and Macbook Pro lineup, the word is Apple is looking to boost a new processor platform. Even though Apple plans on getting a new processor platform the hardware itself will stay the same and will not be redesigned, I guess Apple wants to keep it safe. If Apple decides to do so the older models of the Air and Pro will have price reductions which will compete with Ultrabooks and making the demand for them even lower. Sources say they expect Apple to move about 17 million Macbook Pros and Airs in 2013, a jump from 2011 (12 million) and 2012 (9 million thru 3 qtrs.) .
