The survival of the fittest couldn’t suit any one better than this lion.  The lion spent 3 years in the wild with a snare around his neck that was slowly killing him.  It couldn’t even hunt for food so a pack lions hunted for food and brought some back for him to eat.  They kept him alive while he couldn’t help himself while his own skin was growing around the metal and he had no mane.  Finally, an operation to find him and remove the trap was launched and it was removed.
