Entertainment Weekly has announced their best of 2012 lists! At the top of the album list is Frank Ocean with his debut album, Channel Orange. Two rappers were listed as having the worst albums of the year. Songs by Fat Joe, Chris Brown, ScHoolBoy Q, Kanye West, Chief Keef, Macklemore, Solange, and Meek Mill were also listed for Best or Worst songs or albums of this year. For the Best Singles of 2012:
At number 6 was Solange, “Losing You,” Meek Mill landed the #7 spot with “Amen,” ScHoolBoy Q made it to #9 with “Hands On The Wheel,” Kanye & G.O.O.D. Music landed at #12 with “Mercy,” Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop” was #18,” and Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like” was #19 out of 20.
For the Worst Singles of 2012:
Mariah Carey’s “Triumphant
(Get ‘Em)” came in at #2, Fat Joe’s “Instagram That Hoe” was ranked #4 and Chris Brown “Don’t Judge Me” closed out the top five.
For Best Albums of 2012:
Frank took the #1 spot, Miguel’s Kaleidoscope Dream was ranked #4, and Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city came in at #8.”
For Worst Albums of 2012:
Nicki’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up took the #2 spot and Kreayshawn’s Something About Kreay closed out the worst five.
