Manuel Pardo a former Florida Police Officer was executed at Florida State Prison in Starke. Pardo lost his job as an officer in 1985 when he falsely testified about police corruption in the Bahamas. The loss of his job turned him into a desperate man, a man capable of great danger. Mr. Pardo was convicted of 9 counts of first degree murder and sentenced to death in 1988. Hit the jump for more.

Manuel Pardo started off at 17 joining the Navy, and served for four years from 1974 to 1978. In 1981 was working as a Florida Highway Patrolmen and Sweetwater Police Department he also reenlisted in the Marines as a reservist. Mr. Pardo lost his job when he failed to answers correctly about police corruption in the Bahamas. After losing his job Mr. Pardo developed a mental disease and it caused him to kill. Pardo admitted to the killings saying, “I’m ridding the community of this vermin and technically it is not murder because they’re not human beings.” He was served rice and beans, pork chops, plantains, avocado, tomato slices with olive oil, sweet potato pie, and egg nog for his last supper.
