Blog site Daring Fireball has some inside scoop that Apple is not happy about the praise Google got this over their maps making there way back to Apple products. It is an embarrassing mess when you dump a company for its maps and then when you release your own its a disaster . The executives over at Apple should be more than happy that Google came and saved the day. Nokia’s maps was a good replacement for Apple’s map app but Google has mastered the mobile map. Sometimes you win some (Apple has been winning for a while) and some times you lose in terrible defeats like Apple just did with their maps.
