Wiping away tears several times, an emotional President Barack Obama delivered a statement on the tragic elementary school massacre in Connecticut Friday. Obama mourned the losses of the children and adults who have passed away. He also orders flags at White House, federal buildings be flown at half-staff to honor Connecticut victims. “I know there’s not a parent in America who doesn’t feel the same overwhelming grief that I do,” Obama said.
“As a country we have been through this too many times,” Obama said. “We are going to have to come together to take meaningful action regardless of politics.”
