Product Management Director at Google Apps, Clay Bavor, made it very clear where Google stands on Microsoft Windows products.
“We have no plans to build out Windows apps. We are very careful about where we invest and will go where the users are but they are not on Windows Phone or Windows 8,” he said.
“If that changes, we would invest there, of course.”
He did however mention they are committed to continually improving and updating its iOS and Android products. With their conflict of interest, it’s no surprise Google feels this way. Only issue may be Microsoft combating them with software that supports all 3 major platforms, causing users to hop on the Microsoft band wagon.
