Samsung chief strategy officer Young Sohn said Samsung is looking to shed its copycat like image and start developing original Samsung devices. This is a big statement coming from Samsung, admitting that they clearly copied Apple devices. Young told MIT Tech review that Samsung is focus on Research and development, so much so that they have opened 8 new R&D laps in the United States. Leading the way with their flag ship devices like the Galaxy S series phones and now the successful line of Note devices Samsung is already on a good path on developing good devices that don’t mimic Apple devices.
