Yesterday, we reported that Charlie Sheen gave a very hefty donation to a police officer that had a daughter suffering with cancer. Even his stunt double, Eddie Braun, gave a lump sum of his earnings to the cop, $25,000 worth to be exact. Sheen and Braun totaling 100k to help the family out. Not everyone has that type of money to donate, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help! Find out details after the jump of how you can help out. & Oh yeah, #FKCNCR!
FKCNCR is a non-profit organization supporting those battling the horrible disease that has affected everyone’s lives, both directly and indirectly. The organization’s purpose is to inspire and support patients and family members fighting the same battle. This registered 501c3 public charity strives to raise money for cancer research, clinics, and/or families facing financial difficulties as a result of this disease. This holiday season FKCNCR will be having their first toy drive. They will be visiting a few oncology units of children’s cancer centers, such as the Ronald McDonald House of Charities South Florida and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. They will be providing each child in the unit with a gift and also doing arts & crafts with them. They will have a few drop locations in South Florida where people can donate an unwrapped gift for the children! And of course, the money donated will got to helping them put a smile on these kids battling this messy disease. Every little bit helps and the more money they raise the more hospitals they will be able to visit! Here‘s how you can help out! Shouts to @MissKlept for the movement!
