A US Senator, Joe Manchin, has requested that the show “Buckwild” not be aired on MTV. According to reports Joe sent a letter to the president of the channel asking for them not to let this show air on Jan. 3rd, because it profits off crazy things that the youth take part of. The senator that stems from West Virginia, where the show takes place has also said that teens represent ugly sterotypes of the state. But, if these teens are from the state then they are actually portraying a portion of it’s youth alike Jersey Shore, not the entire state. I don’t think he’ll win the battle against MTV.
