In an age were pretty much everyone has a cellphone or a smartphone the days using a payphones are all but gone. But it looks like NYC is trying to bring back the payphone and reinvent it. How can you reinvent the payphone when more than half NYC has a mobile device of some sort. I would’nt reinvent the payphone but i would add wifi hotspots and charging stations to the payphone areas.
