Chris Brown was allegedly booed during his Carpe Diem tour stop in Dublin, Ireland this week, after a tiny geographical error (that he denies) was made on his behalf. According to the Twitter accounts of some irate fans that were in attendance, Chris told Dublin that they were his favorite city in the UK. The problem? Dublin’s not in the UK! LOL! There’s conflicting reports as to how it went down, though. See some of the tweets below.
Via spin1038:
“Chris Brown said Dublin was his favourite city in The U.K at his gig last night #sigh.”
Via Emmet Doyle:
“Chris brown said, ‘Dublin you’re the best city in the UK’. What an idiot.”
But then there’s fans that say he didn’t.
Like Lisa_CBx:
“I was at the o2 and I didn’t hear Chris Brown say that Dublin was his favourite city in the UK??? He said Dublin I love u, London I love u!”
And iAmConorMc:
“Chris Brown did not say Dublin was in the UK he thanked all the fans that travelled from the UK to the Dublin show, get it right!”
Either way, Chris’ rep says he simply “saw a Union Jack flag in the audience and gave a shout out to the UK, realizing that fans had traveled in to Ireland to see him.”
