Beyonce had a relatively quiet year (for Beyonce, LOL) after giving birth to her first child back in January. Reports have been popping up lately putting Bey back in the studio…with a photo even surfacing of her there with hubby Jay-Z (who’s also been quiet on the music front.) It was then officially confirmed Queen Bey would be performing at halftime of the 2013 Super Bowl this February, so it added to the idea she’d be releasing some new material soon! Now, her frequent collaborator The-Dream has an update and it’s exactly what we’ve been hoping for! See what he said below.
Dream revealed to Billboard that he’s “involved in every part of the process” for her upcoming album. Will she be dropping something before the Super Bowl? “Definitely,” he confirmed. “She’s got her stuff going. She took the summer to start recording, and now she’s in a place where she’s ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan.”
“She’s already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out,” he went on to say. “I’m sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here.” 2 words: can’t wait!
