This morning Google released some great news, an announcement about their new update to their Gmail App. The app had an outdated appearence and lacked a comfortable UI. Version 2.0 is sleek, fast and feature packed! Hit the jump for pics and download link.

6 months ago they set out to completely rebuild Gmail the application. They’ve completely changed its appearance and gave it a ton of new features. Multiple account support, Calendar/RSVP capability and an autocomplete prediction search. I personally made the switch this morning, and so far its been very impressive. Noticeably faster, and the search feature is extremely useful.
