Bad news for Yankees fans. smh.
Alex Rodriguez is expected to miss most of the first half of the 2013 season because of a second hip surgery, sources have confirmed to ESPN.
The surgery will be on Rodriguez’s left hip. After pre-rehabilitation, he will have the surgery in January, and then it will take four to six months for the New York Yankees’ third baseman to recover. In 2009, Rodriguez, who will be 38 during next season, had his right hip repaired. The surgery is not expected to be career-threatening.
