The New York Jets have been quite the circus this year with the quarterback drama between Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez, anonymous players trashing each other to the media and unfortunately suffering season ending injuries. Throughout most of the this star cornerback Darelle Revis has been quiet since tearing his ACL but now he’s speaking out. Read more after the jump.
“Guys just need to shut up,” Revis told Newsday. “The situation we’re in right now, it happens.
“Quit talking crazy to the media, especially involving your teammates. I think that’s the worst, because when you do that, that’s when it really gets divided. Because you don’t know if you can trust your other teammate.”
The Jets have gone through it this season and are currently 4-7 with pretty much no playoff hopes. The team is divided and even their most dedicated fan Fireman Ed quit on the team. As I stated in a previous article, it’s time for them to wrap up this season and work hard on preparing for the next. Oh and while they’re at it, take Revis’ advice!
