14-year-old David Phan killed himself in front of his peers and his parents. The boy is said to have been bullied for quite sometime now. Phan was removed from school at 1:30pm after a visit to the principal’s office and returned to school at 3pm when he pulled a gun out and shot himself in the head. Phan died on his way to a nearby hospital. According to the school, there were no reports of bullying on record. This is so sad! More needs to be done about bullying by not only the schools but the parents as well. Young children and teens need to know that suicide is NEVER the answer. It saddens me that a young 14-year-old thinks his life is so bad that he cannot make it through. Read more below.

Over 200 students and members of the community gathered to remember David Phan, but it’s too little, too late. Too bad Phan couldn’t see that over 200 people were there for him before pulling a gun on himself. Friends of Phan say that he was shy, quiet, and friendly to everyone. Phan recently was question by a student counselor in-regards to his bullying acquisitions but said nothing about bullying so therefore the school couldn’t step in to do anything but Phan’s fans report that he was in fact bullied. His death and bullying is still going to be investigated by the school, according to the Huffington Post.
