Google, always looking to expand their portfolio, has acquired a company responsible for the delivery of e-commerce. Amazon ships out millions of products in a year; but how many don’t make it to their receiver because of shipping or receiving tie ups? BufferBox has the solution, and it could make Google a major competitor! Jump for the story
BufferBox has 4 different sized parcel-storage boxes. Order something from an online retailer, schedule delivery to a nearby BB location, get access pin & your all set for delivery! Go pick up package when delivered, regardless of when you can get there, your package is safe! No longer is there a need to be home to sign for a package, or make sure a family member is home to receive one.
In a blog post yesterday, BufferBox announced that they have been acquired by Google. Looking to possibly break into the e-commerce community, this move should prove very helpful and effective for their future decisions. Google has done a great job of taking ideas that were great, and making the greatest! With their vision, its clear anything is possible; and what more could you ask for than for Google to perfect the online shopping/shipping experience? Keep your eyes pealed for any further changes.
We are excited to announce that BufferBox has been acquired by Google! We have been able to achieve more than we could have ever imagined since we started working on our idea a couple years ago, and the team couldn’t be more excited about the future. As online shopping becomes a bigger part of how you buy products, we look forward to playing a part in bringing that experience to the next level. We are happy to share that it will be business as usual for our users and we are looking forward to continuing to build out the service.
