Tumblr was created 5 years but already they are among one of the elite sites on the internet. Competing with other social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, this is big step for the site to be a top 10 site in the U.S.
Founded just five years ago, the blogging platform and social-networking site now has a worldwide audience of nearly 170 million monthly visitors, Tumblr founder and CEO David Karp announcedon company’s staff blog Monday, citing data from web analytics firm Quantcast. With more than 61.3 million monthly U.S. visitors, Tumblr is now the ninth most popular website in the country.
