Since her debut on the scene earlier this year, Roc Nation songstress Rita Ora has been endlessly compared to her labelmate, Rihanna. Rita’s secured a role in the forthcoming The Fast And The Furious 6….a spot Rihanna’d had her eyes on and was rumored to have taken, but looks like the rumors were a bit preemptive!
“Rihanna impressed movie bosses with her role in Battleship,” The Sun’s source said. “But schedules didn’t work out and Rita really shone during castings. They loved her look and her attitude.”
No harm, no foul here…but I wouldn’t be surprised if secretly Rih isn’t too pleased with the outcome. Oh well, she’ll be celebrating her first number one album tomorrow when the official first week sales come back from Unapologetic, so I’m sure she’ll be fine.
