At least 117 people have been killed in a clothing factory file in Dhaka, Baghdad. The fire made people jump out of the nine story building just to escape it. About 2,000 people, mostly women, were working in the factory on Saturday when the fire broke out. Firefighters struggled to contain the fire, but eventually did. The death toll is expected to rise due to the fact the fire fighters couldn’t reach all of the levels in the building. Read more below.

200 people were injured in an attempt to get out of the burning building as their family members waiting anxiously outside hoping for good news. Officials have said that they are still unclear how many people were recused saying:

The fire department said rescue operations have been very difficult because the factory was packed with fabrics, yarn and cotton, the fire department said. It said the death toll might rise because firefighters could not enter some floors of the building.
