Bad news for Coldplay fans, the band is calling it quits for a while. They announced at their Brisbane, Australia show that it would be their last major show for at least three years, even though that’s not fully true. The group has a few shows lined up leading up to their New Years Eve show with Jay-Z in Brooklyn but after that, they are done for a while. Their last show in Australia was rated one of the city’s best next to Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams, and more. Read more below.
Chris Martin told concert go-ers:
“This is the last big show for three years or so,I don’t want to stop.”
So it’s not like the band is fully calling it quits, at least not yet. Hopefully they take their needed break and then get back into the studio and on the road!
