I could of told you this was going to happen last year. I am a Knicks fan and never bought into “Linsanity”. I am actually happy the Knicks decided not to bring him back, I thought he was wayyyy to over hyped for such a small sample of games. Judging by the early success of New York this season, I am sure they are also happy Lin is gone. Seems like Lin himself may be realizing he is not as good as the media and fans tried to believe he was. Read below after the jump for the story.

“I’ve been exposed a lot early on in the season and have a lot to work on,” Lin said, according to the New York Post. “I’m young. I’ve started 30-something games my entire career. It’s something I have to keep in mind. I’ve felt better before but it’s just a process. We have three days off after (tomorrow) and there’s a lot of things I’m going to do for my leg, knee just explosive stuff we’ll work on.”

Lin so far is not averaging anything near what he was when he was with the Knicks last year, which I am sure has fans in Houston disappointed so far
