Even though their time with the Knicks is over and they’ve both moved on to different teams, Jeremy Lin and Landry Fields are still friends and still trying to prove the doubters wrong. Read more after the jump.
In Brooklyn with the Raptors for the Nets’ season-opener at the Barclay’s Center, Fields said he was thrilled that his friend lit it up for Houston Friday night. Lin had 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in a win over the lowly Pistons.
Immediately after, Fields said he texted Lin to say that performance would shut-up his detractors.
“That’s something, if you keep it up the whole season you will shut a lot of mouths,” Fields said he texted Lin.
Jeremy Lin and James Harden are lighting up the Houston Rockets back court but only time will tell if they continue and can keep it up.
