Seaside Heights, NJ was one of the towns most devastated by Hurricane Sandy, with a majority of its iconic boardwalk completely wiped out and homes rendered unlivable. Though us New Jersey natives have very fond memories of Seaside dating back to childhood, those not in the tri-state area likely are only familiar with the Jersey locale thanks to MTV’s Jersey Shore. Many were curious to see how the home that stored Snooki, Pauly D, The Situation and co. for many summers fared, considering the fate of many other parts of Seaside. TMZ did the digging, and the info is below.
How this remained untouched is beyond me! Other than losing a few shingles, the only damage was to the boards and lumber underneath the house. Crazy. Sadly, the same can’t be said about the store the cast worked in every season. The Shore Store was ruined in the storm. Word is MTV is putting together a tribute to feature the entire cast to raise money for the victims, so hopefully that comes together nicely!
