Ashleigh Davis a 32 year old women from Lake County FL, was arrested by officers for not leaving an argument when told to. She is now filing a lawsuit against the officers at Lake County Jail for “hog-tieing” her and leaving her laying on the floor naked for hours on her arrest. A Florida woman has unleashed a string of blistering accusations in a lawsuit filed this week against two law enforcement agencies.
Ashleigh Davis claims she had her hands and feet bound together while she was carried through a crowd topless by police at the Leesburg Bikefest in April 2011, according to WESH. She had been arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
The lawsuit also claims that, while Davis was still restrained, officers put her in a holding cell half-naked while a handful of officers laughed at her and made no attempt to cover her up.
When one officer tried to cover her mouth to keep her from screaming, Davis bit him, after which he slammed her face into the cell’s floor, chipping several of her teeth, the suit alleges.
