I done told you about Bow Wow before! Anyway, the rapper/actor had a court hearing yesterday to set him up on child support payments for the child he fathered with model Joie Chavis. According to TMZ, he finally agreed on payments of $3k a month, despite the fact he told the judge he only makes $4k monthly as “an employee of Cash Money Records”. He also said he only has $1500 in the bank, but one thing he failed to mention? His new gig as the host of 106 & Park.
As if the $4k income was even believable, now this just diminishes all credibility. Bow’s due back in court in December when the court will rule on a permanent child support order, and I’m sure the judge will definitely increase the payments. In his defense, though, how much more does one need anyway? She’s one child and with smart spending, TWO people can live comfortably on $3k a month, and this isn’t supposed to be a crutch for the child’s mother. She should be working as well, so that will only add to it.
In the meantime, the judge has ordered Bow to pay $11,500 in back child support. Do you think he should pay more or is $3k enough?
