Oakland Raiders quarterback Matt Leinart has been exchanging “explicit” text messages with the 26-year-old woman who starred on The Bachelorette this summer, causing an “explosive” fight with her fiancee from the show.

Us Weekly reports Emily Maynard has been texting the former USC star behind the back of her television fiancee, Jef Holm.

The various reports read a bit like a phone conversation between gossiping high-school sophomores (kids still talk on the phone, right?) so try to keep up:

The newspaper says Emily has been texting Matt behind Jef’s back. Emily and Jef say it totally isn’t true. But Jef’s ex — remember Kaylee, that girl he met on the houseboat in Utah before he went on The Bachelor? — says it is true, and she would know: She apparently made out with Jef earlier this month! I know; Jef’s sorta gross. What? No, I don’t know why he only spells it with one “f.” And now Jef’s brother Mike says the whole thing is true too and why would he lie?! And now the magazine is saying Emily is paying Jef to keep quiet about the breakup because they want to keep up appearances becauseThe Bachelor is totally about finding true love and she doesn’t want to ruin the — uh, what’s that SAT word — integrate … internet … integrity — that’s it — the integrity of the show. [Exhales]. Got that?

Jef’s brother says Jef found out about the Leinart connection when he picked up Emily’s phone after a text session. (Did surreptitious sexual texters learn nothing from Tiger Woods?)

As you’d expect from a report that a woman is sending dirty text messages to an Oakland Raiders quarterback while paying hush money to her reality-show fiancee, denials have been issued by sources close to the couple.
