In the west, the PSP is all but dead, but in Japan it’s still thriving. As such, the announcement of Final Fantasy III coming to PSP this past June wasn’t a huge surprise. What is surprising, however, is that it’s making its way west.
Sony has confirmed that Final Fantasy III will come to PSP in North America, but only via the PlayStation Network. Its release timing in other territories is unknown. It’s essentially the same, reworked version of the game you may have already experienced on eitherNintendo DS or iOS, or perhaps even both.
