According to party goers at an exclusive gig in New York this week, Jennifer Hudson gave an impromptu performance of a medley of Aretha Franklin hits and mentioned that she’d love to play Aretha in a film someday and playfully asked, ‘Is anyone listening?’ as if someone in the room had a hand in casting Aretha’s bio-pic.
Aretha Franklin wants Halle Berry for the role tho. O_o
