Last week a woman in Louisiana filed a $75,000 civil suit against actor Clifton Powell accusing him of raping her last year in a New Orleans hotel room.

“She got mad because I wouldn’t give her any money. I’ve never hurt anyone. I was never arrested. Never. TMZ is reporting this like it happened yesterday. This happened a year ago and people need to know the truth.”
