Apple has confirmed with Wired.com that the iPhone 5 will go on sale at 12:01 am tomorrow. So get your coffee mugs and Redbull for tomorrow’s fiasco.
Apple’s carrier partners Sprint and Verizon have also confirmed that pre-orders will begin on early Friday morning. Sprint will begin pre-orders at 12:01AM PT Sept. 14, while Verizon will throw open its online doors a full minute earlier at 12:00AM PT Sept. 14. AT&T has yet to confirm when it will begin selling the phone online, but in the past has offered pre-orders in tandem with Apple.
If you’re the type of person that enjoys standing in lines, the new iPhone 5 will be available for purchase in Apple retail stores beginning at 8:00AM local time on Sept. 21
