Kennedy was nabbed by State Police after taking off following a collision with a tractor-trailer on I-684 in the town of North Castle in Westchester County.

An investigation is said to have found Kennedy had been operating the car while her ability was impaired by drugs.
Police did not say immediately what she had taken. Kennedy was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of North Castle Court on Tuesday.
A law enforcement source told our Glenn Blain that the DWAI charge is a misdemeanor. Kennedy consented to have her blood taken, the source said.
Police said they were alerted to the situation after 911 calls reported a white vehicle collided with a truck while operating in an erratic manner in the southbound lanes south of Exit 4. The car took off, getting off at Exit 3 before becoming disabled. It’s not clear if there were any passengers. Update: There were none.
