Darrelle Revis had an eventful Fourth of July. The All-Pro cornerback had to tell the world the New York Jets hadn’t traded him, after a post on his Twitter account said they had.
In the rogue tweet, “Revis” cursed his representatives—John Geiger, Neil Schwartz and Jonathan Feinsod—for “getting me traded.” Revis later removed the post, then claimed a hacker invaded his feed.
Revis has talked about holding out this summer as he tries to renegotiate his contract, which has two years and $16 million remaining. On Wednesday, though, Revis professed his loyalty to Gang Green.
