Apple’s new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with Retina display have only been on the market for a few weeks, but they’re already available on discount from Best Buy. This week, the retailer reduced the price of Apple’s Retina MacBook Pros by up to $140, with prices starting at $2,089 for the 15.4-inch, 8GB model with 256GB of flash storage. Prices for the MacBook Air, on the other hand, start at $949 for the 11.6-inch model (4GB RAM, 64GB flash), with reductions of up to $75. Both lineups are available now at these reduced rates, though it’s worth noting that Best Buy’s price drop isn’t quite as large as the reduction Apple offers through its student discount program.
