True Blood is in it’s the fourth episode of the season so you can imagine the complications that are going on. Â Hit the jump to find out what Sookie and her blood-loving friends were up to today!
WHAT WE LEARNED
Well and Truly Dead: Finally we get to see scary Roman (Christopher Meloni) with some blood on his hands, and face. The child vampire—who could have been a cool Kirsten Dunst-type, but was lacking substance—is the big traitor. And he leaves us with a splash. Who keeps a snuff film on their computer, really? Was this a setup?
Broken Home: It’s no state secret that Eric (Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd) and Pam (Kristen Bauer van Straten) are not only our favorite characters, but their fascinating maker-progeny relationship is also our favorite. And now our hearts are broken after Eric’s touching goodbye and renunciation of their blood ties. Crying blood tears forever.
Beer Before Liquor:Â Sookie is in a very bad place. Between confessing to murder, trying to turn herself into the police and having to bail from her homicidal haunted car, the girl needs a stiff drink. Or eight. And a cute werewolf (with amazing abs) to make out with doesn’t hurt. But what’s with her exes creeping outside the window?
Misc. Extras: Terry (Todd Lowe) and Scott Foley‘s sojourn into South Dakota is beginning to remind us of Game of Thrones‘ Mother of Dragons. Completely out of the main action. What are they doing out there? Not sure we care. What does it have to do with anything else? Probably nothing, except to teach the lesson that killing civilians during a war is bad.
Also, fairies are back in Bon Temps. But the big bombshell is that vampire killed Sookie and Jason’s (Ryan Kwanten) parents. Oh and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) is losing his mind and his creepy alter ego tried to kill Sookie. Enough storylines for you?
Rewind Moment: Sookie drunkenly singing to “Escape (The Piña Colada Song)” and changing the words to suit her present situation.
