You only live once, and right now Rick Ross is in his glory.

On Tuesday, the Maybach Music boss dropped his label’s second compilation, Self Made, Vol.2, and he is currently prepping his next album as well. With so much on his plate, will Rozay ever find time to finish his and Drake’s YOLO (You Only Live Once) mixtape?

“It’s still a huge possibility. Me and the homey stay in contact all the time and we record often,” Ross said when he and his MMG crew appeared on Wednesday’s “RapFix Live.” So it’s just making that decision and moving forward with it. I was just focusing on Self Made Vol.2 [and] finishing my album God Forgives, I Don’t, which will be in stores July 31.”

Next, Ross wants to focus his energy on Meek Mill’s August 28 debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, but he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of finishing what he and Drizzy started to plan last November. If the project is released, it will most likely be released under a different name. After Drake dropped his Take Care single “The Motto,” the phrase has taken on a life of its own. In the song’s hook, Drizzy spits, “Now she wants a photo/ You already know, though/ You only live once/ That’s the motto, n—a, YOLO.”

“That title has become so … it’s like an epidemic. So I hope by the time we finish it, it would still hold weight and substance,” Drake told MTV News of the original mixtape title. “We might have to call it something different now, ’cause that’s just so attached to ‘The Motto.’ ”

Rozay agreed. “It got kinda crazy on the title, but you can most definitely expect me and the homey to put some type of work in,” he said.
