Willow Smith is merely 11 years old, but she and her friend (who I’d assume is around the same age), posted the above photo to their Instagram pages yesterday, showing off a tongue ring and a labret piercing, respectively. Now I don’t know about you guys, but I know even when I was 17 and got a tongue piercing, my mother threw 40,000 fits! So at 11 years old? Completely inappropriate! But…is it real or fake? Details below!
Just after posting the photo to her IG account, the girl pictured with Willow posted the same photo to her page, @iBobbieDeBarge. In her caption, she revealed they were fake piercings on both of the girls. I guess they were having some fun with magnetic jewelry at the mall, but at that age…I don’t think it’s even appropriate to play around! Especially when she has so many young, impressionable fans following her who may not know it was fake! What do you guys think?
