The partial collapse prompted a local state of emergency and a search for anyone who might have been injured in the cave-in. (AP Photo/The Canadian Press, Cora Richer) Ontario Provincial Police said Sunday images of the scene show a hand and a foot in the dusty debris, which is still too unstable for crews to access. Fire officials say they have heard taps coming from behind slabs of concrete and metal.
Police still have a list of nine people missing since the collapse Saturday at the Algo Centre Mall in Elliot Lake. At least 22 people were hurt.
A special emergency crew is working to stabilize the scene. Authorities say the process could take another 12 hours
