What an awesome story for Adele, the little girl and her family! 7-year-old Charlotte Neve had been in a brain-hemorrhaging coma, but after Adele’s chart-topping “Rolling In The Deep” made its way to her ears, she woke up! Details below.
According to The Telegraph, the song helped bring Charlotte Neve out of her brain-hemorrhaging coma.
Doctors told Charlotte’s mother, Leile, that her daughter wouldn’t survive back in April of 2011 following the dire medical condition.
Upon hearing the news, Leila crawled into Charlotte’s bed to cuddle, at which point Adele’s song happened to come on the radio and Charlotte awoke, responding with a smile.
As Leila recalled:
“I couldn’t believe it. It was the first time she had reacted to anything since the hemorrhage. The nurses were astounded and told me to keep singing, and she smiled again…It was like she was rebooting. She was allowed to come home for a weekend to see how she was and the first thing she said was ‘home sweet home.”
