A few days ago we posted an item that a recording of Serena Williams doing a rap song was circulating.  Well Serena was very unhappy about it leaking.  Read more after the jump.
The recording was made last year at the B Major Music Group that is owned by Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie, who’s friends with the Williams sisters.
In general Serena’s performance received positive reactions, but the tennis star wishes it had stayed private.
Talking to reporters at a press conference after her victory against Nadia Petrova on Wednesday at the Italian Open in Rome, Williams said:
“Well, I was in the studio with friends and I wanted to do something and so they said – do this and it was for me. The next thing I know — that was one or two years ago and then I read online that I was a rapper and so my backstabbing friends did that to me and so if I see them, I will act like a rapper — if you can get my drift.”
