According to a report from media outlet The Verge, Microsoft is researching full internet browsing via an Internet Explorer client on the Xbox 360.

While this may not be new technology concept to gamers seeing how the PS3 has had the same functionality since its launch, Microsoft is apparently going all in with its motion controller accessory, Kinect. It will interesting to see just how well they can incorporate Internet Explorer as an app and still deliver full client browsing. Sony’s internet browser is clunky and slow even with all the raw power that the hardware provides and incorporating Kinect motion controls is the proverbial icing on top when paired with Bing searching.

While no release date is mentioned, we could see a possible unveil or announcement at E3 next month in Los Angeles.
