Rumor has it Apple is currently working on their newest os (iOS 6) with the code name Sundance.  A Blog site is reporting that they  “triple confirmed the newly updated Maps app which  is coming in iOS 6, though he thinks the hype surrounding how good it is might be hyperbole”. With iOS 6 in the works does this mean a new iPhone will see a release in the near future?
The source says “Specifically, while the 3D functionality is cool, it’s also not something people are going to use regularly. Think of it like Google Street View — cool, but how often do you actually use it when compared to the regular Google Maps product? (Having said that, I still expect Apple’s 3D maps to be cooler than Google Street View.)”
The source also says that Apple is looking to give iTunes 11 a new look, and looking to add spotify type features which would keep them in pace with Spotify and Padnora with radio like features.
And lastly Apple is looking to add Siri to the iPad with the release of iOS 6.  By adding Siri to the iPad, Apple would be adding API access to the app store, which means the App Store apps could interface with iPad to some degree.
